14 day warning notice for rent arrears (LP005)

This document is used to inform a tenant of a residential property that there are outstanding arrears of rent and is required to be served if the landlord wishes to terminate the tenancy in the event that the arrears remain unpaid. It is called a '14 day warning notice'. If the tenant fails to clear the arrears within the 14 day period from the service of this warning notice the landlord is then free to serve a 'Notice of termination' (also available on LawOnline - see document reference LP006) on the tenant giving 28 days notice to vacate the property.
